We start the yoga class in a circle
singing a Mantra together,
a kind of meditativ chant.
To warm up the body and get it moving
we play a game, already including some
yoga elements and requiring attention.
The main part of the class we dedicate to the
teaching and practice of Asana, the yoga postures.
Each course teaches basic poses as well as deeper
aspects as the children become more experienced
and can take new challenges.
At the end of class there is always Savasana.
In this lying position the preceding movements are
integrated and deep relaxation can take place.
This process is accompanied with music and a
phantasy story or focusing the attention
on the body and the breath.
