The Yogazentrum Akazienhof was established in September 2003 focussing its attention on Hatha Yoga in the tradition of B.K.S. Iyengar. Eight qualified male and female teachers offer a wide selection of Yoga classes catering to different skill levels as well as unique target groups. The classes are open to all interested persons, regardless of their level of experience. In addition the center offers classes for people over the age of 55.
Instead of placing emphasis on the spiritual aspects of Yoga we teach a more western oriented, dynamic and vigorous style demanding so much concentration on the moment that the benefits of a deep, mental and physical relaxation can be enjoyed at the end of a class.
All classes are taught at the Yogazentrum Akazienhof. Class size is limited due to corona. Please preregister.
Helen Barsby teaches her next workshop on scoliosis on Sunday, October 12 from 12-3pm. For more information go here.
Here we go! We are resuming live and in person yoga classes at the Yogazentrum Akazienhof!
We are very happy about this, because personal contact is after all an important part of yoga instruction. Unfortunately we are not able to teach at full capacity just yet, as class size is restricted to seven participants.
Needless to say, hygienic measures and personal distancing are a matter of course.
To those interested we are still offering some of our classes online. These will be conducted in real time with the yoga teacher and participants, via a video conference software. This isn’t all that difficult and can be more fun than you thought! In a few steps we will show you how this is done and what you have to watch out for – and then nothing stands in the way of your participation.
